BSC has an ambitious mission. To accomplish our mission, the construction industry requires a fundamental turnaround in the way it operates.
It is becoming widely known and even accepted by some that it is imperative for the construction industry to radically change and dramatically improve the design, construction and operation of buildings so that they may minimize or eliminate their carbon footprint.
We feel we must help reduce the energy consumed by buildings and convert and construct new buildings to be carbon neutral by 2030 or preferably within 12 years, or by 2020, to avoid more dangerous levels of climate change.
Sharing information will help accomplish our mission and is a way to accelerate positive change.
