Detailed Design Intent

What is missing from almost every construction project is a clear, easy to understand detailed explanation of the design decisions of system selection and sizing.

A BSC Detailed Design Intent (DDI) details the hows and whys of the system selection and sizing and the processes and thoughts behind these decisions.  It combines the detailed Client Brief, the Basis of Design and Design Intent into one detailed, comprehensive document written in plain English.

Because our DDI is written in a language all can understand, it removes the gray areas and wiggle room that can cause so many questions, disputes and additional costs later in the construction or building operation.  With a DDI, everyone understands exactly what is required and how the systems are selected and sized to meet the requirements and documentation to show this.
