Total Quality Commissioning/Enhanced Cx
Developed by our Chief Engineer, Total Quality Commissioning or TQC is the only Total Quality life cycle performance assurance program for mechanical and electrical construction projects. TQC begins with determining the detailed life cycle requirements of the Owner and then ensures the systems selected and sized to achieve them, making certain that the systems meet the Owner’s short, medium and long term requirements. This is very different to the usual start-up performance prediction and confirmation.
We provide a detailed analysis of the building energy systems selection and sizing. Our Detailed Design Intent (DDI) fully documents the selection and sizing process, answering all the whys and hows of the decisions made. We continue the commissioning process through the design and construction and into operation to ensure a continuum in the process.
TQC goes far beyond LEED commissioning; facilitating an expedited, successful construction project that will operate successfully for a long life cycle. TQC is a total quality assurance thread that runs throughout the project design, installation and life cycle operation.
